Job Summary
The Senior Accounts Manager will be responsible for leading, governing, and strengthening the entire accounts and finance function across all company branches. This is a strategic and leadership role, ensuring financial discipline, statutory compliance, accurate reporting, and strong internal controls while mentoring and guiding regional accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
● Lead and mentor accounts teams across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai & Kolkata
● Define standard accounting processes and ensure uniform implementation across branches
● Review team performance, build capability, and ensure timely closures
● Act as the final escalation point for complex accounting and compliance issues
2. Financial Accounting & Reporting
● Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing for all locations
● Ensure accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting
● Consolidate branch accounts and present insights to management and leadership
● Ensure strong cost control and financial discipline across branches
3. Statutory Compliance & Audits
● Ensure 100% compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements
● Lead internal, statutory, tax, and GST audits across all locations
● Coordinate with CA firms, auditors, consultants, and tax authorities
● Proactively manage compliance risks and regulatory changes
4. Banking, Treasury & Cash Flow
● Oversee banking operations, fund planning, cash flow management, and working capital
● Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and auditors
● Monitor receivables, payables, and credit control across branches
5. Systems, Controls & Process Improvement
● Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance frameworks
● Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP/accounting system optimization
● Ensure data accuracy, documentation, and audit readiness at all times
6. Business & Strategic Support
● Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
● Provide financial insights for business expansion, pricing, and cost optimization
● Act as a trusted financial advisor to leadership and cross-functional teams

Key Skills & Competencies
● Deep expertise in Indian accounting standards and statutory compliance
● Strong leadership experience managing large, multi-location teams
● Excellent knowledge of GST, taxation, audits, and corporate finance
● Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
● Hands-on experience with ERP / accounting software
● High integrity, attention to detail, and governance mindset

Educational Qualifications
● CA / ICWA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred
● Strong professional track record in senior finance roles
Ideal Candidate Profile
● 25+ years of progressive experience in Accounts & Finance leadership
● Experience handling multi-state, multi-branch operations
● Calm, authoritative leader with strong mentoring ability
● Able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on guidance
